Some Tilley hats are Guaranteed for Life against normal wear and tear, imperfect workmanship, or faulty material. If your hat experiences any of these issues, please submit your request by selecting and completing the “Guaranteed for Life” form below. Next steps will be provided within 5-7 business days.

 

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Only hats with the designated “Guaranteed for Life” label will be considered for replacement. Customers must provide photos to identify the eligibility of the item, as well as proof of destruction of the item upon request once approval is granted. All qualifying replacements are subject to a non-waivable handling fee.

 

Note: Tilley Endurables only accepts Guaranteed for Life requests through Tilley.com. Any requests submitted outside of the electronic portal will not be accepted. Should you have any questions, please contact the Tilley Customer Service Department by email. 

 

Packages sent without prior authorization will be refused and returned to sender at the shipper’s cost. Processing times may vary due to increased volumes in peak seasons and are contingent on the provision of all required information from the customer. Requests will not be shipped until all requirements are met by the customer. Tilley will not be held responsible or liable for any lost or stolen packages in transit. Please contact your carrier to settle any shipping issues.

 

Tilley reserves the right to determine if an item qualifies for replacement under the Guaranteed for Life policy.

Another Great Hat

This is my third Tilley hat over about 20 years, but the light weight & shape of this model were exactly what I was looking for. When it arrived, I wasn't disappointed.

I've not worn it out yet, but its functionality is as per my others - i.e. once you have the two cords in place it's not leaving your head for anything. My wife has this model & between us we've worn them canoeing, sailing yachts & dinghies, on lifeboats, RIBs, pleasure boats, & climbing mountains. They are the business.

Some reviewers comment that some current models are made in China, not Canada. Well, I have two Canadians & now my wife and I have Chinese ones & I can't see this as a problem - my wife's is as good as my others.

You do need to be aware how they fit, so watch the Tilley video. Once you know that you'll get your size right.

The acid test for my new purchase will be when we go to Australia later this year (which is why I bought it) where I will now be as smart as my wife. XD

Like it a lot

I have a few Tilley hats, I tend to reach for this one the most. I have gotten several compliments on it (but not my other Tilley hats). It's extremely comfortable and nice to wear on hot days - I do love the original cotton fabric but this one is more polyester, and stretchy, and so comfortable and cool. I like that the brim has good integrity. Not as bendable / moldable as the regular cotton ones (it bothers me when they bend out of shape!). I wish they'd make this in more colours, and with hardware that matches the same colour as the fabric, for a less "adventure" look. I just want more casual style Tilley's - I don't always want to look like I'm going out hiking or sailing.

Léger et confortable

J'ai un Ultalight depuis une douzaine d'années et il est de loin le meilleur chapeau que j'ai eu. Garanti à vie, vous n'aurez pas à en acheter beaucoup dans votre vie, il est robuste et garde sa forme.

Superb

I have the original Canadian made one that’s 20+ years old. Wear it all the time - a few loose stitches over the years but still going strong 💪 what a great hat it’s been all over the world with me
