TERMS & CONDITIONS
Only hats with the designated “Guaranteed for Life” label will be considered for replacement. Customers must provide photos to identify the eligibility of the item, as well as proof of destruction of the item upon request once approval is granted. All qualifying replacements are subject to a non-waivable handling fee.
Note: Tilley Endurables only accepts Guaranteed for Life requests through Tilley.com. Any requests submitted outside of the electronic portal will not be accepted. Should you have any questions, please contact the Tilley Customer Service Department by email.
Packages sent without prior authorization will be refused and returned to sender at the shipper’s cost. Processing times may vary due to increased volumes in peak seasons and are contingent on the provision of all required information from the customer. Requests will not be shipped until all requirements are met by the customer. Tilley will not be held responsible or liable for any lost or stolen packages in transit. Please contact your carrier to settle any shipping issues.

I now have four different Tilley hats. I love them all. They each serve different purposes.
I recently had a pre-cancerous spot removed, so I decided it’s time to chuck the baseball caps for some serious sun protection. While I do like this hat, I was a little disappointed to find the brim looks wider on me than it does on the model. I suppose, if you’re looking for protection, a larger brim is the way to go, anyhow.
My head is very pressure sensitive and I’m prone to getting headaches when my head expands in the heat or if I wear a hat too long. Not true of the Tilley. I have no problem wearing this hat all day long in summer heat. It’s sooo comfortable. I can actually feel the breeze occasionally as it wafts through the venting in this hat, which also allows heat to escape. I chose the khaki/olive one, not only because I like the colour, but also because it should be marginally cooler in bright sunlight as opposed to the darker colours.
You can’t go wrong with a Tilley. Another satisfied customer.

Out of a total of 8 Tilley hats, this is the one I wear more often: it’s light, fresher than the non-cotton ones, excellent in windy conditions and decent against moderate rain. Nice brim shape. I recommend it!

This is a replacement for a hat with the identical model number that was showing evidence of breaking down after at least 10 years of heavy use. It's covered hundreds of miles of British coastal paths, Alpine walking etc., so I was very impressed that Tilley unquestioningly replaced the hat on the basis of the Lifetime guarantee. Of course, the quirky message inside the hat is now replaced with something much more bland but it's still in English AND French, which is nice. Also, it's now made in China, not Canada, and that made me sigh. Although the design has changed slightly (It's made of a weightier fabric and has a rounder, shallower profile and a wider brim) it still seems to be of excellent quality and, in spite of the comment by Rene K, as far as I can tell, the Lifetime guarantee is still in place. At least that's what it says on my tag, (provided that you register it online of course).
