Our merino wool and down products are RWS or RDS certified which ensures our materials come from farms which follow animal welfare practices and apply progressive methods of land management that protects native species, soil and improves biodiversity.
Shokay is the worlds leading provider of responsible yak wool, a high performance fiber that is breathable, warm, and water repellent. A percentage of the revenue earned from Yak yarns sold by Shokay goes towards their Community Development Fund which contributes to restoring grasslands, as well as local education and empowerment.
Using a process combining the fermentation of sugars with a chemical bond, Sorona is able to create an environmentally conscious fiber that achieves performance like qualities such as , shape retention, stretch, moisture wicking ability, and increased durability.
