No matter where your Tilley hat was purchased, all Tilley hats with a lifetime guarantee warranty must be registered within 90 days of purchase for the guarantee to be activated.
Tip: Unsure if your hat is guaranteed for life? Check the inside woven label in the crown of your hat. It will say if it’s guaranteed or not.
How to Register your Hat
Step 1: Create an account. You must have an account to register your new hat. Click here to sign up for an account or if you have an account already, log into your account here.
Step 2: Find the ‘Register my Hat’ link on the left-hand bottom side of your Account Dashboard & click on it.
Step 3: Fill out one (1) registration form for each hat you wish to register.
Tip! If you’re not sure of your hat details, look on the hat hang tag.
Step 4: Click submit. You will receive a message ‘Your hat was successfully registered!’ at the top of the page when your submission is complete. Your hat is now registered. You will not receive an email confirmation of your registration.
Step 5: Enjoy your hat!
What you need to register you hat
- Name & mailing address
- An email address you can be contacted at
- Your hat style, colour and size information
- The name of the store you purchased your hat, the date of the purchase and the transaction/reference number on the receipt. If you purchased from Tilley.com, you will need your order confirmation number.
