  • The Intrepid bag is hand-made in Toronto, Canada and only a few are made each week. It's well worth the wait!

Fabric

• • The INTREPID is made from 100% waxed cotton. The 10 oz waxed cotton was woven in Indonesia and dyed and wax treated (both sides, twice) in Scotland.
  • The 100% leather trim is vegetable tanned, finished and ‘aged’ in Italy to give it that old-world, well-worn feeling.

Care

• • Spot wash but do not use soap on the leather. The leather is prepared so it will not become brittle or cracked. Any type of oil or wax on the leather is not recommended.

  Great Bag, Great Price

  I travel extensively and use this bag every day. it has been no less than wonderful plenty of internal room for files and lap top and secure document storage in the flap. It's rugged yet stylish and just an overall wonderful bag to own! If i were to change anything it would be a little larger outside end pocket (But that's minor)

  Transfers dye

  The leather on the bottom can transfer the dye to pants. I have had 2 bags, and they both had this problem. Make sure to test thoroughly in the store, if you can, on something rougher than paper towels. My other complaint is that the outside side pocket is deep and pyramidal, which makes it nearly unusable for anything that does not stick out past the flap (like sunglasses or sunscreen as they say in the description)

  Tilley Bag

  Though I'm a big fan of Tilley products, I'm truly disappointed with the bag. It is smaller than I thought, has few if any separate compartments and does not have enough room to be of real value when traveling.

  what a bag

  what a bag,i ordered this bag from the international website before you could get it in the uk,i got it just a little before christmas 2010.the quality is 2nd to none as with all things tilley.perfect as a day bag for your holidays or even a couple of days away from home.you will not be dissapointed.Enjoy.

  Perfect!

  It's not a man-purse. It's a Tilley Intrepid Bag! ;) For the last few years I have been looking for a bag like this. I have seen a LOT of fantastic shoulder bags and messenger bags, but I never found one that I thought was just perfect for me until I found this one. I carry my netbook, my Kindle, my small point-and-shoot digital camera, my Moleskine notebook, a couple pens and supplies for work (I'm an x-ray technician by trade). There is plenty of room for more stuff as well. The craftsmanship of this bag is amazing. I have no fear that it's going to get damaged or worn out in any way. It will live outlive me without a doubt. Oh.. did I mention that this is my second Intrepid purchase? My girlfriend got one for her birthday before I got mine... We both love these bags...

  Close to perfect

  A great bag for all for what you need. Carries my 13" Macbook, camera, bits and pieces. Outside pocket makes for easy access and zippered inside pocket holds the smallest pieces you need to have with you. This bag is better in reality than the images you see here!   What a bag,so much better than in the photos.The quality is excellent with more than enough pockets for all your items,the leather is also great quality and really soft,can't wait till i take on my holidays as you can take it on as carry on luggage.i can see me using it for many years to come.
