“Someone told us that we look like we are an advertisement for Tilley Hats. The fellow is the birding guide in Hong Kong (works at Walk Hong Kong). He loaned me an extra Tilley Hat when we went birding in Hong Kong. When my husband and I returned to the States, we too bought some Tilley Hats. We love ’em!"

Too tight around waist and hips

Today, I went to the Harbourfront Store, in Toronto, in order to try that shirt. I normally wear size Small (size 4 or 6, depending). But when I wore that shirt, it was too tight around the waist and hips. I was so disappointed, as everything else fitted perfectly. They should really change the cuts of the clothes, around the waist and hips. I even had no luck finding a skirt or pants which fitted me around waist and hips. I have proportionate sizing and I never had any issue finding clothes that fit me in standard sizes.

A beautiful blouse, very versatile, and a perfect fit! In fact it's the only blouse I have that fits me. Many thanks.

    Love mine!

I really love the fitted liberty prints shirts. The sleeves are long enough; the shirt-tail allows me to wear it untucked (if I want); the taper makes the shirt look great when worn untucked; the colour choices are bold and gorgeous. (For a nicer fit, I did have to order one size smaller than the former LB79). Thanks for the great liberty prints!

Absolutely agree with the sizing. Beautuful prints and would order a few of them except for the tapering.

Not for senios or mature customers

The posting by Mary Yeung is oh so true! Tilley seems to have no time for us any more. These tapered fit are no use to ladies of mature dimensions, and the "relaxed fit" pants are just terrible! Please bring back "normal" fittings and the olive pants!

    Shirts

It is very disappointing that the design for the last few years has been tapered fit. It automatically eliminates mostly the middle age or the senior groups who may be a bit heavy in the abdoman area. And the breast pocket is very functional too.
